Armando Martín

Armando Martín, has conducted business in every country in the Spanish-speaking world developing both broad experience and an intimate knowledge of the Hispanic consumer – nationally and internationally. He has managed $1.5 billion in annual electronic transactions for Western Union. He has opened retail stores and multiplied training centers for Franklin Covey throughout Latin America and he led the Hispanic media, marketing, promotional and grassroots efforts for the largest multicultural agency in America: GlobalHue, where he left to co-found Alturas Communications and quickly developed one of the largest Multicultural programs on behalf of Kmart, $50mm in capitalized billings. Recently Armando was responsible for all Multicultural efforts at the retail giant SUPERVALU, which include Albertsons, Jewel, Shaw’s, and Acme. Armando provides Fortune 500 companies cultural insights with their multicultural advertising initiatives and retail strategy plans to grow brand awareness and demand.

Manny Fields

Manny Fields, is a results-driven strategist and adept at engaging consumers via cultural relevancy. Those innate talents and developed skills have fueled his achievements for corporate leaders like GlobalHue, known as the largest multicultural agency. His account experience includes Kmart, American Airlines and Albertsons. As the Director of Multicultural Marketing at Western Union, Manny managed advertising budgets up to $20 million per year, while leading the development of many new product rollouts. Manny founded the first minority and women-owned business resource guide on the internet; developed live broadcasts and corporate sponsorships for the Harlem Globetrotters. At InBev, Manny led all off and on premise promotional activation to grow import beer category against domestic low cost and low calorie domestic competition. Manny provides Fortune 500 retailers insights to improve their advertising, promotional and merchandising effectiveness from a cultural perspective.

Liliana Gil

Liliana Gil a recognized industry speaker, leader and recipient of many marketing and diversity accomplished awards, Liliana has over 12 years of experience founded on a solid career with Johnson & Johnson where she served as the Director of Worldwide Marketing Services and Multicultural Marketing Lead. Liliana was the co-founder of the corporation’s Employee Resource Group for Hispanics (HOLA), which to date has well over 1,500 members. She also was the leader behind “Proyecto MAS” (J&J’s multicultural marketing initiative).Brands that Gil has directly influenced include: Prezista, Topamaz, Levaquin, Tylenol, Lactaid, Splenda, Aveeno, Johnson’s Baby, among others.

Liliana brings the credibility and passion to drive success. Her thought leadership has been featured by many publications like ANA, HispanicAd, AdvertisingAge, the Harvard Business Review’s taskforce contributing to the topics of diversity and multicultural marketing.

Liliana is one of two Colombians selected by the World Economic Forum as a 2011 Global Leader. She is a member of the Global Diversity and Inclusion Board, the CMO Summit board and an advisor to Starlite Media, and co-chair of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Gala por la Vida in New York, among others.

Enrique Arbelaez

Enrique’s leadership in digital innovation, asset development and offshore management and operations has been the catalyst for the creation of our global network of digital and creative teams.

He’s a conference speaker in topics of Social Media Marketing and online lead generation through the usage of branded entertainment and remarkable content. Enrique has contributed to the development of marketing and digital strategy for major companies and brands, such as Kroger Co, Serena Williams Mission Skincare, Belleza Bandida, Johnnie Walker, and Johnson & Johnson among others.Prior to XL Alliance, Enrique worked in companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, and Covance.
